This morning we will look at a video posted at The Resurgence on Film & Theology.  This video takes a look at the theology behind the movie Thor.  More specifically, it takes a look at how this story fits into and reflects the greater story — the meta-narrative — of salvation history.  Almost all stories today stem from the original story — the one all about a Creator God who creates with goodness and centers upon the person of Jesus, our hero.  Enjoy his thoughts!

Can some violence be considered redemptive?  The revolutionary author and speaker Shane Claiborne says the thought that violence can be redemptive is a myth.  What exactly is a ‘just war?’  Has our ivory tower theology led us to remove ourselves from the reality of the human relationship?  Claiborne thinks so… and much more.

Are you a culture maker?  This video is very well done, and although an advertisement for their ministries, it speaks to our generation to high degree.  Your welcome for the free advertising!

And last but not least, here is a great music video I came across some time ago from Mumford & Sons.  Music is really a universal language that can transcend almost any barrier… enjoy!  And if Island Records removes the embedding than click HERE to watch the video on YouTube.
